Richard is responsible for developing and executing a complex supply chain across Europe, Middle East and Africa for all AstraZeneca products, as well as chairing his company’s Global Distribution Network. The AZ distribution annual budget is in excess of $250m. Richard is currently working with colleagues to build a distribution strategy that will be future-proof for the next 5-10 years, taking into consideration segmentation and various go-to-market models. A key success factor includes bringing the commercial and operations functions closer together and working closely with key service providers.
