Michael Ahner

In his role at SONY Computer Entertainment Europe, Michael oversees a budget of € 40M and is responsible for a team of 25, and manages 25+ external providers. Recently, Michael increased supply chain security on a cost neutral basis and brought down loss ratio from over 200% down to close to nil, and helped to decrease the distribution expense ratio by a 2 digit figure. Michael has established an integrated, reliable and secure supply chain, within a well-recognised partnership approach, including a successful project where he consolidated 40 service providers down to 1. Michael has previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry - for Celesio - therefore best placing him to advise on what pharma can learn from the high-end electronics industry.
