At Novartis Vaccines, Maria is accountable for cold chain logistics globally – she is responsible for ensuring that all requirements for compliant transportation are met through management of third party providers, on every order through to final customer receipt. Recently, Maria has led a highly successful multi regional project focusing on process improvements and ensuring best practice - integrating local market needs with global initiatives. Maria has been a member of the PDA Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group (PCCIG) European Branch since 2010, ideally placing her to discuss how to meet the newest developments in GDP guidelines - Chapter 7 Outsourced Activities.
